International Telecommunications (Country codes) - Calling codes are listed in a ITU-T recommendation E.164. ITU-T is a successor of CCITT and defined by ITU (International Telecommunication Union). This organization was created in 1865 like an International Telegraph Union and make the international telecommunication standarts like ITU-T for phone communication, ITU-R for radio and ITU-D for other networks.
